Exactly two decades ago Selena Quintanilla's biopic was released to the world. And, although most of us have seen the film  (multiple times), the late singer's husband Chris Perez admitted ? not long ago - that he did not see the movie during the past twenty years.

But, on Feb. 6, Perez came across the movie while channel-surfing and not only decided to sit and watch it for first time, but also he shared his thoughts in real time with his thousands of Facebook fans.

?Gonna grab a bottle of wine from the kitchen and sit through the movie in it's entirety for the first time (besides the premier...where my eyes were closed half of the time). Wish me luck,? he wrote.

Guess what just started on the Lifetime tv channel...yup. Gonna grab a bottle of wine from the kitchen and sit through...

Perez also noted that some parts of the film were out of the timeline and shared how happened in real life.

She always made me nervous....who "dances" next to Selena? LOLO!!!! :) Then, it got real. CHHTT!!!!!! And it was Ricky (not Joe) that busted us. (Sorry Rick...my bad)

Yup. She LOOOOOOOOVED pizza....this scene coulda been a lil more heavy. Here's where we first said " I love you" to each other. My head was spinning.

Also admitted that Jennifer Lopez did a great job.

I'll tell you what... Jen did a great f!@#king job. Super proud. Will not watch the ending of the movie. G'night everyone....one last time, LOL!

Chris Perez chose not to see the end ... and we really don?t blame him.

And here's where I think I have to leave the party....It was good hanging with you guys tonight and being able to "talk" with you all. Until next time....ENJOY THE REST OF THE MOVIE! :)

GLOCK

this was so sentimental!
I just know that it cant be easy losing someone like this.. especially under the circumstances!
i am sure it was hard for Dame Dash to watch that Aaliyah movie as well..
