Mel.

And I mean...
I'm not tryna come off as no saint and high and mighty

because I've been known to pop gorls at the drop of a hat if they try me
but as I said before I'm growing and evolving everyday to become the best version of myself
and I like who I'm becoming

Ok

Was it not a family show?
what was trash about 19 kids and counting?
Mel, the eldest brother molested his two sisters. The entire family knew about it and kept it secret. Now whether the motive was to stay on tv or further his political career, I don't know that is up for speculation. But the point is they are still on television. Now THAT is trash, no it's sick is what it is.

No, what the brother did was trash.

should the whole family suffer for what he did?
I'm sorry they didn't tell you personally they were molested
do you think that's something they'd want people to even know?
"oh hey, we're the duggers and by the way..the eldest brother molested his sisters" like...
think of the victims, do you think they wanted the world to know they were molested?

the brother was dealt with and removed from the show and network. Not sure what more you wanted.
And I would pose that same question to you, what more do you want the housewives of Atlanta or the women of LHH  to do for you to deem it a perfect representation of the black community?

They could stop pounding on each other every other scene, for starters....
So LHH should display better conflict resolution. Lets say they do that. Lets say the next time Mimi and Joseline argue they do not swing on eachother, what does that do for me or for you as black people?

Well, what it will show is
we can disagree without having to put hands on each other

I mean, you dont think they fight about the most senseless things?
can you at least agree on that aspect?
I dont care about these people hun. As long as I know how to handle myself during conflict, why should I care how Joseline Hernandez does? She does not represent me, she does not represent the black community.

If you didnt care
why are you going so hard for these people?

she may not represent you, but a lot of gorls aspire to be her.
I see it a lot and I need for the gorls to want to be better
whether you like it or not people are looking at shows like that
and they think that's who we are as black people and it's not.

Scott.

lol at a show defining who you are

L&HH does play a role in the on-going stereotypes of blacks
and if you think otherwise

you're delusional, but whatever...I don't care to keep talking about this. I've spent entirely too much time on it as it is.
