Speaking of bad franchises, I watched the trailer for that new Idris movie

Is this a series? I saw based on the novels and 
This doesnt look good enough to watch once, let alone start a damn franchise

Its a Stephen king classic. stop it.

Doesn't mean it needs to be made into a movie

Just based on the trailer they changed a ton of things. Actually the first book honestly isn't very good. Its gets good during the 2nd book.
