Would it be inaccurate to call Lupita Nyong'o Darkskin and Kerry Washington Brownskin if asked ?

I think that's the beauty. We come in all shades. Nothing wrong with embracing your individual complexion. As long as you're not using it to show some sort of superiority over another. It's the intent behind it imo

I'm dark. No need to go into which shade of dark it is, how light the dark is ,how dark the dark is...........pointing out who's lighter or darker than me....I am dark skinned. Period. And I luv my fucking skin. :justabit:

You are absolutely right, it's all about the intent behind it.
And I've said that many times, in regards to the beauty of our variety when it comes to the tones we come in. we kinda shit lolz :justabit: and it dont fucking CRACK. :supluv:

Does the differentiation even exist?
I just see myself as dark skinned.

However
I see people describing themselves as almond, walnuts, gently baked pizza crust, flour tortilla and mess and 9 times out of 10 I'm looking at them like :udontlookok:

Dddssdss Not pizza crust.
