I was all over him at first too, because I thought he was cute, but his music is OK, he relys on high profile features and at times it seems he is the 1st to jump up to confirm his humanitarian efforts for some praise.

It's great what he's doing for Chicago tho, just wish he and his parents were more forthcoming and authentic about how this all came about.

I think it's great what he's doing, but they will not admit that this boy is a politician, just like his father and most likely everyone around him.

with enough resources anybody can craft a career. but like I said, it's great that he did that to reach kids and not just buy a mansion and car collections. (Not that he and his family are hurting  for money anyway )

Money can't buy you credibility as a musician. His music is boring but he's obviously talented.

Yes he can "afford" to be indie and give a faux free mess....highly doubt that's what is drawing his listeners in.

Unless your name is adele you don't make money of actual album sales...so why not snatch a deal with a corporation to recoup your costs.
