           If somebody would?ve told me how fucked up life would be as an adult, I would?ve enjoyed my childhood days better. At age twenty-two, I was already in some deep shit that I wish I could just back out of. I loved my son M.J. to death, but I wish I?d had him with a better woman.            Working at Wal-Mart was alright because I didn?t have to deal with too many customers since I was an overnight stocker. My job at Zaxby?s was definitely more stressful, especially during lunchtime. As usual, Wal-Mart was somewhat empty so I was prepared for another easy shift. I had no idea that that night was the beginning of it all. It all started while I was restocking some Captain Crunch cereal on the breakfast aisle.

           I turned around to see it was Zaden Scott, a dude I hadn?t seen since high school. We weren?t friends back then so I found it weird that he was approaching me that night. Still, I replied, ?Wassup, man.?

           ?Yep. I thought I recognized you a couple of nights ago up in here. You always work this late shift??

           He grabbed the cereal he came to that aisle for and then walked away. I put the card he?d given me into my pocket and started stocking the shelves again. Back in high school, Zade was one of the popular pretty boys that the girls went crazy over. My dad does offer to pay for CDL classes though. Right under that job in pay is the package section manager job. You can make twenty-eight an hour doing that job.?
