I like Khalid as a person but...his tone is so grating and the lack of vocal ability doesn't even make up for it like it would for other artists I hate.

I love SZA dearly, but she will not win Best New Artist.  She doesn't have a strong enough manager.  I doubt she has anyone out there really networking for her.  At least not on the level of Khalid's manager.  The fact that she missed the VMAs tells me everything I needed to know.  That was also part of the campaign.

I think Alessia Cara or someone else will win.  I have a feeling Khalid, SZA and Julia Michaels will all lose.
