How is it too much? If the genre is going to survive that can't just lean on the original ones we have to keep moving foward. That s exactly why I support them because they are bringing new and fresh stories to the mainstream and turning pretty much all of them into A list superheroes, where as back in the day they would've never been given a chance and we would be been on our 5th batman/superman  etc... fucking movie.

And they have already discussed the universe will be scalped back starting phase for focusing on more character driven arts and not so much focus on a big build up.
