She had some vocal issues when she broke up with Ryan and recorded ?Do better? and the song with Jessie J. Still sang her butt off but she had to fight through hoarseness and some issues.

She saw a vocal doctor in 2014 and 2015 before doing Chicago and recording that song with the Walls group ?God On my mind? and there was a HUGE difference.  she praised her NYC doctor heavily

And obviously with beggin and pleading she SLAYED but she stepped outside of her comfort zone just a bit. And the song with Sir the Baptist ...  although i remember her complaining that her voice was not in good shape the same day she recorded it, so meh.

She sounds super youthful and is singing really higher lately and i love it.

I recall her saying ?I got my voice back so...? at some point.

This gave the unique Brandy tone of the first two albums that nobody has ever come close to. I don?t feel she has given this on a record since. This not the tone that Dawn and the girls try to give on their records.

Can?t stop listening to this song. The song is just ok, but her vocal performance is stunning, out of this planet.
Like, how can she keep improving after all this year? What a vocal beast you are Brandy!! Every single line of this song is a singing master class!
