"Coming out" is really tf late in 2017. Like...we still doing this?

I think that as long as discrimination/prejudice/etc. exists for the LGBT community, "coming out" will always be an event of sorts.

I agree, but at some point explaining your existence/part of your identity to cis-gendered/straight folk is tiresome because it's too much knowledge in the world and work published by intellectual giants for you to engage with. Motherfuckers are lazy and laziness permits ignorance. The same can be said for white folk who play ignorant to black folks rage.

I agree. Some people allow their sexuality to become their complete identity when it's only a very small fraction of who you are (or at least it should be). I've always felt that way.

I never talk about my sexuality at work and other places because A) should be obvious if you aren't blind/def/dumb and B) what's the point? Hey guys! I'm gay! Woo! Rainbow belt lol! Yayy!! Gay gay gay gay lol
