Thanks to Kanye West's seven debuts on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart -- all from new album Ye -- he marches ahead of Aretha Franklin for the fifth-highest total of top 40 hits on the chart. West now has 81 top 40 hits, while Franklin has 80.

West?s Ye haul, on the chart dated June 16, begins with two debuts in the top 10. ?Yikes? opens at No. 7, while ?All Mine? starts at No. 9. The pair gives West his 25th and 26th top 10 hits on the list, and first as a lead artist since ?All Day,? featuring Theophilus London, Allan Kingdom and Paul McCartney reached No. 6 in 2015.

He earns additional entrances via ?Ghost Town? (No. 11) and ?Wouldn?t Leave? (No. 14), both of which feature PARTYNEXTDOOR, ?Violent Crimes? (No. 16), ?I Thought About Killing You? (No. 17) and ?No Mistakes? (No. 21).

Collectively, the seven tunes? debuts push West to 81 top 40 hits on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, passing Franklin?s career sum of 80. West now trails only these four acts for the most visits to the chart?s top 40: Drake (156), Lil Wayne (97), JAY-Z (96) and James Brown (91).

Yay for ?Ye?: As for the Ye album, the set debuts at No. 1 on both the Billboard 200 and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts with 208,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending June 7, according to Nielsen Music.

On the latter ranking, Ye marks West?s eighth leader among nine albums. Only 2016?s The Life of Pablo missed the top spot, peaking at No. 2.

Cardi B Climbs: Elsewhere, Cardi B clocks her seventh top 10 on the Rhythmic Songs airplay chart as ?I Like It,? with Bad Bunny and J. Balvin, dashes 14-9. The collaboration races 26 percent in plays at the format in the week ending June 10, according to Nielsen Music.

With ?Like,? Cardi?s first seven entries on Rhythmic Songs have all reached the top 10, making her only the sixth artist to begin with such a streak. Eminem (1999-03), Ashanti (2002-03) and Ciara (2004-07) each sent their first nine tunes to the top 10, while Ludacris (2000-02) and Beyonc? (2003-06) likewise began their careers with seven in a row.

?Like? secures Bad Bunny?s first top 10 on the list and J. Balvin?s second, following ?Mi Gente,? with Willy William and featuring Beyonc?, which flew to No. 2 last year.

"Like" ascends elsewhere too, moving to a new peak of No. 3 on both the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Billboard Hot 100 charts.

Ella?s ?Boo?d? Bump: Ella Mai also joins the top 10 on Rhythmic Songs as ?Boo?d Up? jumps 13-8. The England native?s breakout hit rises thanks to a 19 percent lift in plays in the week. ?Up? also does just that on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, hitting the top five for the first time with an 8-5 gain.
