they were friends and have worked together before
I think he was trying to put in a good word and explain why the band missed their gig with her

dont think so. she literally was telling this man on her tweets back to him to mind his own business and that no one mentioned who the band was, just him. perhaps he shoulda just not said a word at all; let the bank speak for themselves.
