QuoteIn an announcement made moments ago, it was revealed that the Pop queen will take control SiriusXM?s The Groove (channel 50) on the platform beginning this Friday (August 17th) at noon.

So what can listeners expect from the week-long takeover?

The legend will open up to SiriusXM in a series of interviews about about her brand new material, her classic catalogue, her influences and the music of today that she can?t get enough of.

Confirmation of Jackson?s radio stint comes after it was announced that she?ll be performing ?Made For Now? for the first time on TV ?The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon? on Friday. The song?s Dave Meyers-directed video also drops on the same day.

Quotepersonally feel Daddy Yankee was a wild card. Daddy Yankee? as a collaborator is likely to appeal to an international market more than it is to expect a chart topper. While I believe they would like a song that charts it seems more about strengthening another market.

Despacito was so good because it was unintentional. They NEVER thought it would do as well in the American market. So it?s not necessarily a ?guarantee? or formula.

? MFN is already very commercial & pop-ish, trust me you will see very soon. Janet COULD have gone with someone like Cardi B or Bruno to guarantee numb?ers but she went very international for a reason. It throws it for a loop. But we have a good amount of things to come.?
