Definitely 96-01 d

I always felt like his stuff on Missy's later albums (outside of the singles) was corny sounding. I dont even see the Pop stuff (JT and Nelly Furtado) .... I guess Cry Me A River was cute... but yea his 90's stuff. I just remember how it all FELT. It was innovative and exciting and then Li... whew

Gilgamesh.

Yesss 96-very early 2000s is definitely his best work. Maybe I should have said what sound is your fave?

Super Friends/Bassment:

The RnBOP phase:

his "dark" beats - probably my fave

fresh

this is my MESS
I remember riding my bike to buy this album, and popping it into my discman and listening to it on the way home.

I was too young to be listing to it

The "dark" types!

I would categorize "Can We Get Kinky Tonight" as a dark one too. "Make It Hot", "Call Me", "Dirt Off Your Shoulder" actually even Total "What About Us" is an eerie mess imo.
