A rapper who goes by the name of M.O.S. is suing Migos for allegedly ripping off his 2008 "Walk It Like I Talk It" track, according to an Oct. 24 TMZ report.

M.O.S, born Leander Pickett, claims to have filed a copyright for his song in 2018, even though his "Walk It Like I Talk It" landed on a DJ Folk mixtape a decade ago. Pickett is reportedly suing the Migos and Capitol Records, hoping to recoup the funds that the group has made off of the record and stop them from profiting going forward.

The Drake-assisted "Walk It Talk It" went on to be one of the fan-favorites from the Atlanta trio's Culture II project, and was eventually made into the album's third single following its release in March. With the phrase in question being so commonplace, it remains to be seen if Pickett's claims of plagiarism will hold up in court going forward.

Meanwhile, Migos continue their North American trek alongside Drake on the Aubrey and the Three Migos Tour Friday night (Oct. 26) at Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif.
