Read the lyrics.  There's nothing depressing about it.  The girl is literally talking about finding herself and learning something from each relationship. It doesnt bash those men in anyway.  We all know who tf Ariana has dated and that's basically the only thing she said in the song when it came to "mentioning names". Summa y'all just be TALKING
