IRL

I think my sarcasm and bluntness reads as mean online so people think I don't use, well on message boards anyway.

IG is weird cause people decided if they "like" you based on your look.

But yeah, I think I make a better impression in person.

Yeah, you come across as really stupid on this board.

It depends when people first meet me online my humor can come off as too much until they get to know how I operate

IRL I come off more timid and quiet when I first meet people because my personality can be a bit much to some so I try and ease them into it, but they get so used to the ?reserved? me they mistake my sense of humor as me being mean.

It really takes a right time mess for me to get along with people tbh

You sound like hard work and not worth getting to know.

I was being serious :guys:

It cannot be easy seeing those Confederate flags in people's front yards and driving by plantations on a regular basis on your way to damn work :omf:

I honestly see why people in the South are much more woke. Yeah racism is up here too but it's a lot more passive and under the table. Unless it's with the NYC police dept :omf:

hfhjsssssssssssssssssssssss

My town is majority black. It's just alot of small minded ignorance. I grew up hearing "black people don't do this." and "this is white people stuff all the time." The confederate mess didn't happen until I moved and went to college

although my town does have a white school and a black school and plantation homes everywhere d

I remember in college I had to go home and give a tour of the plantation homes for a class. d Most people probably don't even know they're plantation homes cause growing up we just called them Mansions. I learned what they really were in the 10th grade.

Both.

Like Romero said, sometimes you have to meet me first to understand my sense of humor and know that I'm so harmless. But I think Im pretty good at reading people and working them into my sense of humor. :dead:

I think with social media, it's easier to build friendships with interesting people that you actually have a lot of things in common with. And it doesnt feel forced... Its kinda weird how close you can get to someone and never meet them physically. When you build an actual friendship through social media, its SO genuine because there's no obligations or demands. You genuinely just took an interest in each other's lives and created a bond beyond the social media platform.

Then again I would say online

In real life I have to allow people into my space and I'm very picky about who I share my energy with. Plus I'm mean as hell.

Social media is just less stressful and takes less effort.
