#Roommates, 27-year-old #MarshaeJones has been indicted for the death of her unborn child after she was shot in the stomach. According to AL, authorities say that the mother is the one who initiated the fight that led to the gunshots.

Marshae was indicted by a Jefferson County grand jury on a manslaughter charge and was taken into custody early Wednesday. The manslaughter charges against the actual shooter, 23-year-old Ebony Jamison, were dropped after the grand jury failed to indict her.

"The investigation showed that the only true victim in this was the unborn baby," Lt. Danny Reid of Pleasant Grove police said back when the shooting happened. "It was the mother of the child who initiated and continued the fight which resulted in the death of her own unborn baby."
