!!!!!

nnn@the gorls lashing at her

"You aint fucking black bitch :fuming: "

Her hair is super curly and u can see the black in her features and facial structure
IMO

Not like she's some straight haired blond girl with blue eyes sitting up somewhere putting a black power fist in the air :plzstop: :plzstop: :plzstop: :plzstop: :plzstop:

I'm watching part two, and she's so right.
We like to pretend these things such as biracial tension, colorism, etc. is a thing of the past

but let someone even MENTION the word "mixed", and they have three fists down their throats. :plzstop: :plzstop: :plzstop: :plzstop:
"bitch you BLACK! fuck u talkin about mixed...u aint mixed with shit but tar :fuming: "

its the opposite fucking extreme  :plzstop:

Herb.

Awwww part two... :stressed: :stressed: she's making me feel some type of way

people laugh and joke about this and are SO quick to disregard it but I think biracial people do face a lot of mess

a LOT of them (like this girl) has HALF of their entire family -- the white side -- that doesn't even acknowledge them because of their beliefs in racial purity...that has to be fucking hurtful. :uhh: like, she had nothing to do with that . i couldn't imagine knowing that my grandmother could careless who the hell I was. :stressed:

Then you come to the blacks and we're giving them "light skindededed bitch. u think u all that. u ain't black. white self."

:dead: :dead: clearly there is privilege but i would say its definitely balanced by the adversity they face.

even Mariah told a very similar story in her "Through the Rain" video.

Sinpool

DDDDD

I'm not gonna lie when I took my DNA test I kept the results to myself unless someone asked because I didn't want anyone to think I was tryna claim MIXED.  :stressed:

Well I would say if it's something you already knew of and simply confirmed it, claim it! The most important thing is research IMO. And connecting how the results relate to you. Do you know the NAME of the ancestor who gave you this heritage? etc. Without research or knowledge, it's just a bunch of percentages next to countries.  :plzstop:

For instance: to be totally blunt, Native tribes could careless about a DNA test. They want to see the lineage of your folks -- what's their names? where did they live at this period in time - was it on an Indian settlement or reservation? how far back is this ancestor? -- and that is how they would determine your blood quantum.

DNA is a great place to start. It lets you know, at least, if you're wasting your time or not. :dead: But it's all about that knowledge. If you are connected and educated on your heritage, it is yours.

And it's good to dig in on ALL heritage. Not just the bits and pieces of it that we may find sexy and edgy. :plzstop: :plzstop: From Africa, to Asia, to North America...dig the fuck in!
