And all seriousness there will never be an entirely separate black space in western fashion, so the next best thing is inclusiveness.
Black designers, staff, photographers ect infiltrating these notorious white spaces and have their influence trickle down>>>
Look at what her friends Edward has done for UK Vogue and Pat has a billion dollar make up business :dead:

That's why she's always flying in and out of Africa trying to drum up business and telling the African girls to keep their prints, waxes patterns and intellectual property to themselves, she actually skipped NYFW this year and curated The African Fashion Week this year and has been wearing African designers to promote their mess.

She can't do it all by herself, so patterning with Gucci, a company that has all the links, networking, funds and platforms available is a great educational tool for these African designers who only have the means to make one outfit at a time, something that annoyed her when she wanted to showcase them.
