The poorest people are the most faithful and religious yet.....they're poor. I don't.... see how he can logically bring himself to say that

it looks like he was saying ppl thing think being poor, broke & defeated = humble and Godly (i've seen this first hand, and those ppl tend to judge Christians who realize it's ok to have nice things) sounds like he was saying it's ok to have nice things as a Christian and that is a positive reflection on God, not a negative one as some of those in the Church (aforementioned) might have you think. looks like this person just took the clip out of context and selectively took what they wanted to and/or understood what they could. idk, just my 2 pennies

honestly i love this perspective and take on it (not tryna be funny) but i feel like if that's what he meant, some sliver of what he said would have indicated that. I really didn't get that from this clip at all

well that i don't question. For some, that's what keeps them alive. Faith in God is something i can understand

Giving all ur money to these churches and following behind a man that would literally lock his church doors so people wouldn't get in after a big storm, is something i just won't ever get behind.

yeah i've noticed people who live in the shittest countries with the worst infrastructure like to use their hardcore faith as a rebuttal.

sure more secular places have more money, opportunity, and an overall better way of life, but the love of jesus/allah makes them better than those richer countries.
