Now that I'm reading about it, I see too many similarities. Why is this new version necessary? Plenty of other black women who haven't been portrayed.
I thought Lynn's version was a theatrical release, but it was another TV movie like Paula is trying to make. And it got a lot of accolades. Why compete?
