Yes he was romanticizing the death of Eva's friend Stephanie who was murdered by her boyfriend rapper Earl Hayes. He murdered her and himself because he was angry about her having an affair with Trey Songz. He FaceTimed Floyd Mayweather, he saw the crime. Eva had to identify her dead body.

Eva said in an interview that Kevin is praising Earl for what he did. This means he is so unstable he could actually kill Eva and the little daughter.
