If Shether opened the doors for all female rappers then why is every female rapper prospering but her?

I think you can open doors for people without burning the charts up yourself. The term "opening doors" actually implies just that.  I can open the door for you to run through, and i can still be lagging behind a bit. Doesn't really take anything away from what Remy May have done

MC Lyte /Salt N Papa opened the doors for Lil Kim, Lil Kim opened the door for Nicki, Remy/Cardi re opened the doors for female rappers to be tooken serious again.

Nicki re-opened those doors after female rap was fucking DEAD for years. Shether made the general public realize that there could be more than one female rapper and Cardi was the first to succeed after.

I think what's interesting is even after all this Nicki is still The Nicki Minaj. It definitely wounded her but she still has the fans.
