I think Trump knew some mess was about to happen. He thought it would be Mexico but was wrong, it was disgusting China.

He's sending so many mixed messages and I think it's completely intentional

a) he wants to appear as if he's fighting the good fight against Rona
b) he wants to appear that he wants things to begin reopening - lowkey downplaying Rona's threat

all while appeasing his core fanbase with the words "suspend immigration" to keep him in good as possible for reelection

just throwing a whole bunch of shit out there ... straddling the fence
he better hope this doesn't backfire on him.

It's an election year....

Which is exactly why it's the worst time to be sending out mixed messages

The timing of everything just seems entirely too coincidental. This man beats impeachment and then this outbreak happens . I don't know if he actively played a roll in it spreading, but sitting back and stalling on efforts to keep it from spreading seems to have been an angle for his campaign.
