I feel like this Mary era is completely underrated.

Scott.

And I love "My Life", but this one was just as great to me.

Always felt the Mary era was underrated. I enjoyed her new music direction with Deep Inside, All That I Can Say, Give Me You and Your Child.

Just Dropped In To See What Condition My Condition Was In

Actually that era had hits. I remember that era very well. My mom bought What's The 411? And What's The 411 remixes albums. Yeah, Mary was hood and her and Chaka stayed reading one another. Kept me in tears.
I am scarred, so fucking scarred
These are the scars of me
The very fucking scars of me
This is my tragic heart
My tragic heart

-Me "Tragic Heart"

This era isn't underrated tbh. It was really just a stepping stone for the next two albums.

Scott.

Yeah it did have hits. But no one really praises that era like they do "My Life". Don't get me wrong, "My Life" is probably my favorite R&B album EVER, but "What's the 411" was classic too

It's a shame it always get paid dust. That album sounded nothing like her previous 3.

Scott.

I'm not gonna lie, I always pay the "Mary" album dust.

Not your cup of tea

I actually love that album. But I prefer to hear 411 and My Life more.
