as much as i adore the beauty of cats i cannot get with their MESS.

using a damn sofa as a scratching post and mess

i dont see myself getting one anytime soon

I'm assuming he's an indoor only cat?

Play with him more. He needs his workout.
After all, cats are still animals that have their natural instincts like chasing mice or birds.

Maybe get him one of these cat toys:

Kittens and younger cats are little balls of energy. 

They need stimulation. Play with them until their asses are tired. Do they have toys? Regardless, they're still gonna have their crazy, random moments lol.

My bby does most of his ripping and running at night. He's chill for the most part during the day.

Oh Bby!

The 2nd one always amplifies the recipe
The first one we have is so cool and calm.
The 2nd bby is a firecracker. Always starting mess with the other ; darting from room to room etc. he's always looking to get into something.

We have them both trained though to NOT scratch up any furniture . They have they own houses, cat posts and toys for that. The one tower has several areas for them to sharpen their nails, so we've trained them to get use to only using their mess for that.

As soon as I come around with a spray water bottle, they know it's time for some MESS :watchit:
