Significant Discovery: First known Black American family of Kalmyk descent

Takeaways: Be prepared to pivot, even when you think you're on the right track. Be OK with being wrong so you can get things right.

Kalmyks are tribal Mongolic people who settled in Russia. It's estimated that only 300,000 Kalmyk descendants exist worldwide - with only 3,000 in America.

Yes I think its so disheartening when blacks express such disdain for other blacks and try to go against them its like do you see the climate were in we really could use you not  being an open enemy to us so many other groups feel they can easily come in our circle and divide us and they can

but on the other side I refuse to continue toxic patterns within our community as well and that can be taken as being anti black coon or sell out or wanting to be white

and the very last thing on earth i want is to be white or have whites feel im on their side but there are times i cant continue to the generational curses

but yeah

generally when I meet other black people, I just always feel a general sense of >>><<< with them.

I know a lot of us feel that. U know what I mean. Just so much goes without being said . We are family .

I call them my sister . King. I don't have an issue with giving a little PDA to my people . And it comes from the heart . I love us so fucking much.

So it's heartbreaking for me to find someone who I feel connected with In that manner just openly sharing opinions that flirt with and even tongue kiss anti-blackness on YouTube .

I came across the mess because their little rant happened to go viral on YouTube. I couldn't believe it. This is someone I know in real life.  A bunch of mess that can be easily be explained as "just my opinion" if I were to to question them about it .

But I'm choosing not to approach her about it. I'm just very disappointed. You hear that "all skinfolk ain't kinfolk" mess all the time but when it hits home, it kinda hurts your feelings.

I'm all for black people having their own opinions . We are not a monolith. But I can tell when someone is purposely And strategically separating themselves from blackness . And looking down on it.

And she's actually proud of the mess going viral , saying "thank you" in a pinned comment to the person who put her rant in their content for thousands. She's super proud of this mess being spread around.

I think she can feel I'm treating her differently but I don't feel connected with her anymore. She's been reaching out but I have been very distant .  I love her but I'm so disappointed . And it actually makes me feel sad. And even betrayed?

If I could compare her appearance to someone, I'd say Heather Headley. To give you an idea of why I felt why we were >>><<< from the jump. But all skinfolk ain't kinfolk.
