who didn't really care for Viola's performance in Ma Rainey?  :dead:


I just wasn't fully SOLD. I saw Viola at times more than I saw the character.

The whole film was gross tbh.

Yeah. Loved Chadwick's performance though

I actually thought she did a good job. She was funny to me.

I mean it was solid and I love Viola, but she doesn't completely pull off certain types of roles to me.  :dead:
