Of course we're gonna favour the the music we grew up with, a lot of that shit was "mediocre" as well but the nostalgia is what  makes us go up

younger people who are in their teens and mess will always determine what's "hot". That's just how it is.

Her energy is super negative and very pretentious and judgmental in that post. Don't know much about her but from what I've seen she usually seems like a nice girl who minds her business .

just hope she can think clearly and focus on herself . Coming at others isn't the way to go. I don't like when ppl put others down to uplift themselves. Not cool. Not charming. There's other ways to pat urself on the back

Yeah, this post wasnt about the status of music today - it was calling out people for not liking HER music and HER accomplishment of having a Timbo album w/ a JT feature and in some way promoting that. She got the job done though - people are talking, she made theshaderoom.

Now when her album drops, I'll be the first to listen. And it better be the best fucking album of 2021. The 1st couple songs she released are both worse than every song on her last EP though, so we're off to a rough start.

it's all super subjective , and that's another issue with what she's doing

you can't really climb on a soapbox as if what you're saying is fact

if someone loves a song and thinks it's hot, to them it's quality. it's worth them streaming and/or buying

i think GODni's "heart away" mess is one of her best songs ever. but a lot of the other gors thought it was complete trash and beneath her.
