Rihanna has cute singles but her catalog doesn't fucking touch Bey's. I couple see if we were having this conversation pre 2011 but Beyoncé's work has been nothing but stellar since.

Thats when it got bad for me.

Her only questionable album is Sasha and even she's not too bad.

I just feel like once you reached the pinnacle your music needs to be on another level from the rest. I can understand why Michael Jackson dominated radio, his competition truly could not measure up. Beyoncé not so much. Shes presenting herself as the female mike especially with all this African/heal the black world mess and it all rings false and is just boring imo. She benefits a lot from jay's street cred cause without it her popularity imo would have dropped drastically.

Yea, and again that's subjective because I know lots of people who hate beyonce music and even go as far as "she can't sing".
The only thing that's concrete are those facts and figures. Rihanna did better

it is a FACT that Beyonce's music has higher critical acclaim, impact and awards

also Rih's "success" isnt concrete. It can be debated on whether the streaming numbers added to the pure sales numbers are legit or from fans making playlists of her songs on repeat to inflate her numbers

Nothing Bey has released post-self titled has resonated with me at all tbh. And even self-titled I don't use a whole lot besides a few tracks.

Sorry to let u know, that's Beyonce's album. She created and cultivated everything on there.  She is not only the artist but executive fckn producer
