Syrai is not a SANGER singer. But she has something. She just needs to focus on the sweet spots in her voice. Kinda like Jhene Aiko. She aint belting out, but still gets the job done. I can see her making music and doing vocal delivery in the vein of Gabby Zike's new EP.

Brandy was also 19 when "Never Say Never" released and hadn't developed vocally.

Brandy still sounded good and had a nice voice tho.  Syrai is a bg vocalist at best.  Issa no....... for me

Brandy was going thru a vocal transformation.  Brandy on the debut sang better than NSN brandy TBCFH! Syrai hasnt EVER displayed debut Brandy type vocals,  so saying brandy was 19 during NSN isn't proving much imo

Not saying Syrai is Brandy, but we also didn't have entire albums worth of material to accurately judge her voice. She gives a coo here and there

not really fair to judge her tea yet. Her tone is cute
