I love you bby!

I'm honestly extremely excited. She sounds inspired and ready to open up to finally be honest with herself. She's lived and had experiences that are gonna translate very well into good music.

I feel like this new album might take the title as her best.

I know I said in the other thread that Brandy "just be talkin", and I do feel that way, but something feels kinda different this time. She seems to have grown and has began recognizing her greatness a bit more, and the receipts are in those vocals on "B&P".

She does a lot of talking, but those vocals showed me that she's really ready to mess this time around and I'm HERE for it.

This confidence >>>>

I love how she said "that's good for Me" when he said he didn't know how to take her new single. She WANTS some people to be kinda thrown off

People expected her to go the typical route and she did the opposite ... Yet again lmao!!

RekeRig

"I don't wanna recreate songs and sound the same. Everything sounds the same"

Whew!!! Haha!

I'm not gon lie B&P by far is not my fave Brandy song, but I am so glad she is back to being part of the regular celebs. Like sis is really HERE.

RekeRig

A lot of these songs came about through organic jam sessions and writing sessions

Ain't no more sending her tracks and shit like with two eleven. I'm STANNING

whatever

Not in love wit B&P but I am happy she got her confidence back.....

I think a new single, with a good roll out would be great.....

Brandy taught me the word "edgy", when I read her Full Moon promo interviews, she used a lot during What About Us?.

I like Two Eleven, and "Beggin & Pleadin" is very different from that. There?s a lot going on with that beat. It was hard for me to take that, as the single, and imagine what an album built around that might sound like. I kept thinking about it, though, and the song held my imagination for a moment.
That?s a good thing for me.

She challenged the fuck out of him. She's gonna give him three weeks before she removes her boot from his neck.

I don't think it should be the 1st single. The roll out for a first single should be more impactful. Should've been on iTunes already and press release, label announcement, etc. I'll take it as a song to wet our appetites though. But it should get a 'single treatment'. Video, a couple performances, etc. Not sure how a song like B&P would do on the radio either. But one things for sure, is that she got a lot of people talking about it. Hope she rides the wave, keeps recording and then put out the official first single later on.

...

if it's a first single it needs to be the first single for the ep.    Becuz a real first single from the LP needs to be done with planning
