Still, I don't see parallels between Aaliyah's life and Mary's. She was drinking and doing coke. Appearing high as a kite on award shows. Aaliyah on the other hand was, if anything, overworked. But she always said she loved it and was grateful for being able to do what she loves.
That statement "coulda been me" is just so vague to me.

yall must not know how vinyls work.  i collect vinyls and especially with represses they put them on sale with a ship date futher out to see how many they are gonna have to make.  once they get an estimated amount they will then go ahead and start to make them.   since aaliyah hasnt released anything in awhile they prolly wanted to wait before they hit submit on the order.  they will more than likely ship out sooner than that

also the cd box sets are shipping next month if you look so that will be a testament and see if barry is legit .. i submitted separate orders for both.

There were rumors about her wanting to leave the record company. I think when they didn't pay for a bigger plane or a second plane they showed how greedy they were as a record company. And we thought she would get on the plane to get to the next obligation without realizing it could kill her. I don't exactly know what Mary's thought process is (she makes it seem like it was done intentionally, also in that ig post they said her father thought it was murder)

The people at the label could have being greedy and reckless because they were 'done with her'. And didn't want to invest in an artist or protect an artist that was going to leave anyways. That's my guess.
