Nicki had viable female rap options to collab with in the 2010's. She did nothing to repopulate the genre when she did get on top, unlike Cardi. Granted, she isn't obligated to... BUT let's not act like she was on some GIRL POWER! kick (NICK)

She didn't start collabing with the ladies until her music started underperforming and she saw the camaraderie the other rap girls had actually built.

And Lizzo is the one benefiting from a Cardi collab... she has 2 hits. Cardi really doesn't need to work with any of these girls, she chooses to because she's actually secure with her position in hip hop, unlike Nicki who still walks around with a chip on her shoulder despite attaining icon status.

"Female rap unity" is the reason why the female rap game is boring af! Rap music is about competition and being the best. Back in the day, you had Foxy and Kim going at it, which made rap music fun.

These new girls are just terrible. Same sound, same image, everyone trying to get along. Where's the mess? Where are the girls trying to prove themselves to be the mess?

But at the same, I think a lot of people forget that Nicki was born around the same times as Kim, Foxy, etc. Nicki comes from a generation where rap was competitive and rappers were always trying to compete against each other, which is probably why she has this "holier than thou" mess when it comes to female rap unity. She wants to compete, not get along with the gorls.
