Where they are expected to be bulletproof and to handle anything
If this weren't an issue for black women I honestly wouldn't see the harm of saying "strong black woman" all the time
If they were not CONSTANTLY masculinized and dehumanized I wouldn't see the issue of saying "strong black woman" all the time
It's NOT about "strong black woman" being the CAUSE of the issue , its not about BLAMING "strong black woman" for the issue . it's about us not being able to afford to constantly use a phrase that can CONTRIBUTE to and SUPPORT preexisting ideas about black women that are very harmful.
Does that not make sense?
