just because im speaking on the aspect of gender double standards here, that doesn't mean thats the ONLY determining factor for me when it comes to "fairness"

and yes we CAN get into "what so and so did was worse". that's literally just judging each situation on its own merit, which is something we should be doing.

so while i feel there is a gender-based double standard that is wrong, i also feel like stacey dash's actions were far more severe than chrissette's, wich would justify her getting a stronger reaction. these two things can both be true st once.

my point is chrissette didn't do anything to the level of kanye OR stacey. so i dont think its right for EITHER one of them to be forgiven or "uncanceled" before her.

and again, re: stacey, she and chrissette's situations were completely different. and being that what stacey did was more in line with kanye's actions, i can certainly understand why people are not as willing to forgive her but those people should have thst same energy for kanye. so even tho stacey is gross, i can still acknowledge the double standard, i just dont feel bad for HA

Everyone has different tolerance levels for coonery

chrisettes mess was obviously in the lower tier but definitely enough to turn people all the way tf off from her .

Maybe the way u feel about stacey can be used to understand why some feel so strongly about Chrisette. 🤷🏾‍♀️ She did something that she knew the community would be hurt and angry about.
