I wonder if he's doing it or he's just saying he had a lucid dream about doing so  :kii: either way, he better stan.  I hope one day some of ya'll give the album another shot

This therapy session from 1 to 15 omg. Lyrically, the metaphors and all ..  this is up there with Afrodisiac for me. Easily. She did her mf THING

B7 is so amazing    ugh too bad it's too short and we never had a deluxe version of it
i think 12 songs is perfect

I feel you tho. I would never complain about a deluxe

Brandy wrote the FUCK outta this song

Describe your dreams then, Queen. Ugh

Sovereign.

I'm still curious about the "B7" mastering. Like Brandy's ear is too detailed to have some those songs sound like they were mixtape-ish. :uhh: That really concerned me especially an artist of her caliber. The album ain't bad. It's most certainly grown on me but that mastering shit was a huge factor as to why I could not get in when the project dropped. I pray that the next project is mastered differently.

You should give it another listen. The engineer behind is grammy award winning for a reason

There's nothing wrong with it IMO.  You're just used to that super polished sound but Brandy is VERY intentional. Her ear isn't the issue IMO, it's exactly the way she wanted and everyone around her agreed. It's mixed like an Indi album, but i wouldnt get that confused with "Mixtape". The backgrounds are as present as the leads for the first time in her career and i LOVE that shit.

Listen to it on Tidal or Apple. It's fucking AMAZING  :kii:   give it another chance man. I had a problem with a couple songs at first but completely understand now.

if you don't like it --- totally understood. I'd never judge you for it -- but questioning her ear? LOL nah

Lucid Dreamsm, Borderline, Say something d;;ddlldf they fucking SLAYED

b7 is something you have to sit with and really listen. This ain't twoeleven - that gave mixtape to me. A collection of nice songs. b7 is an EXPERIENCE. Again, just my opinion. Im not shitting on yours. It's just the questioning of her ear that im way iffy about. No ma'am. She's intentional and u know that king

THEE Lashawn Daniels approved by the way. The worst mixing of her career is on the Human album because she had no say so. You can barely hear all the work she put into her vocals and stacks. People going back and fucking with her work without her knowledge. No ma'am

The way we're in the dream with her the entire time. Omf

In an interview last year she said the sound she's making with her voice in the middle of the song are healing/meditating sounds. It's the part of the song where she's supposed to be waking up/feeling better.

GENIUS

:omf:

Intentional in every way

There's only 1 song I want a proper mixing explanation for and that's Unconditional Oceans... I need to hear from her mouth why she mixed that amazing song like that lol

lmao that song is awful, I don't see how some of y'all like it. Worst song on the album even worse than the dreadful High Heels and Bye Bipolar.

Context is everything. I've grown to really love and appreciate the album especially her being able to share her story how she wanted to share it. It wasn't clear for me as a listener and a fan if the mixing was a creative choice or some overlooked detail. Again, it's a beautiful album. Not my favorite Brandy project, but I've grown to appreciate it more and more especially the former part of the album.
