from a technical standpoint alone, chloe's performance was a mess

her moves were mad sloppy, she wasnt hitting her points. then the choreo was giving tiktok challenge just like i predicted, and the rolling on the floor beyone/patti moment was so forced.

im team mani, but even i was expecting way more than what she gave. all shade aside.

Chlöe had the best performance of the night. She is coming into her own and as her first true solo performance, she killed it. She has things to work on and work through but that's the beauty of watching a star being made. Beyonce didn't come out knowing it all or having it all together with DIL era. It took time to figure it out and get it together.

I respect that chlöe stands on her own two feet. Normani always needs assistance from another artist, even though it was adorable for ciara to be there and introduce her, it came off like she needed that enforcement. Just like the Teyana moment and Janet interpolation, it's always some HELP that she needs to produce anything.

She's signed to Beyoncé's label and is partly managed by her. What have you witnessed from Beyoncé that's tangible in connection with Chlöe?

She's yet to post "HM". She wasn't at her show introducing her. She isn't on any of her records. This is Chloe's first single and it isn't featured by any of the large artist that could've been attached to it.

And being honest..... all stanning aside, can Normani even turn Wild Side around at this point? If they were waiting for the VMAS to kickstart promo, why didnt she just release the mess right before the show like Chloe?

Look at what happned with Halle and Disney
