Beyoncé is lighter skin as you acknowledged. There was no game to play with her image she already had a privilege. Whitney and Janet played that game and won. Which is why it was easier for brandy and lauryn to grace magazines and makeup ads with her braids. It would have been more powerful for her to be this pro black earily in her career instead of putting her tail between her legs to desperately reach the masses.
I dont speak on peoples children. But with a sister like solange and a husband like Jay who's from the gutta, grounds bey and im sure plays into how she's grown into her blackness. Not saying it wasn't always there!
And why would she force that on Chloe and hallie when its in to be down now!! FYI Chloe locs are light blond though.
