I really doubt it though because she considers herself a champion for black people, and wants to do everything she can to remain authentically black. I don't see anyone questioning Patti Labelle's blackness knowing she got that Bell Pepper in the middle of her face sliced in half Since when does surg make your blackness inauthenticClassic whataboutism. Are you capable of critiquing Beyonce? Or does anything go w/ "Queen Bey?"

That's the ultimate point. And we're getting too far away from discussing the idol worship too many people have for Beyonce and other celebs.

Are you upset that Beyonce is receiving critique or...? this thread has 20+ pages. There are ppl multiple ppl criticizing her, and others defending her. At a certain point some ppl like to go deeper than the surface and ask WHY does she get criticized for this when others dont? The constant avoidance of this question and accusations of bias and idolatry is making you sound like you personally have no answer and just dislike her

The constant avoidance of this question and accusations of bias and idolatry is making you sound like you personally have no answer and just dislike her Your question assumes that I'm not critical of others who get plastic surgery, that would be incorrect. Again, the topic of convo is Beyonce. Ergo, Beyonce's plastic surgery is being discussed. That's about as clear as I can make it. As I've stated elsewhere, I'm a fan of Beyonce. But I'm not so fond of any human that I can't level fair critiques. Can you (for Beyonce)?
