I love the song myself, and understood the message. Have to agree the clearer version was better but get why she choosen this version. As For the beats, those are my only grips. All the songs got the same beat in a sense. Camper isn't versatile enough to get an whole album.
IDK, Robyn's Back!!!🥂

It's not for everybody

I LOVE it tho and it's one of my favorites. Tells more than one story (as most songs on the album do)

Her being targeted by the media, haters and "fans" alike.

A target god damn ..  can we let me live? :uhh: Just cuz i can sing for ya  :uhh:

So many metaphors and sickening vocal moments down to her talking her shit.  Yea I'm something like the GOAT, faggot (Whitney) but i ain't Saving all my Love LMAO

The lyrics are great.
The arrangements - not so much.
I don't know. Maybe one day I'll get in. I played it like twice. Can't sit through it.  :dead:

Maybe the production is the problem -- now that you mention it...

I feel the same way. I understand it's honest and personal, but that's not why I like songs. I don't have a strong enough connection to Brandy the person, to get-in on the basis of the song being personal. So that's not enough for me. So then I'm considering the lyrics from an angle other than the meaning they give. And the "illustrated, agitated, elevated, demonstrated" lyrics remind me of being 14 on hip hop message board trying to "key style" raps and everybody did the whole "I'm a lyrical critical cynical individual" thing. Sorry for the tardy. Candaaaay. Like a rock without the boat. Again it's kinda corny to me. There are some good harmony moments in it, but that's not enough to make me see the song like some of you do. The structure is off, on purpose and I understand why and I understand that's the point of sounding all over the place, but that doesn't make a pretty song. And I like pretty songs. Melodic songs. I shouldn't have to try to find the melody. Maybe one day I will feel differently when I hear it and the personal aspect is something I can relate to and speaks to my spirit but my brain always says NO, next.

You must be a pisces like me.

The worst song on B7 for me. SHE sounds good and I like her message but I'm not a fan of the lyrics or the production. It just kinda.. DRONES on.

unconditional oceans - I Am More is kind of an ICONIC streak of alber tracks tho.  :loose2when:

also last time I checked Say Something had the most views of the album tracks, but that was a minute ago so things could have changed

Lucid Dreams took that, outside of the singles.

Best opening track to start a Brandy album since "Who i am" IMO. BUT i understand why some don't use of course

I'd never disparage those that disagree. My favorite Brandy album right now, quite easily

The beat and production lack soul. Her vocals and the vibes are great but it just clashes as if a fan put the acapella on a fruity loop beat. A lot of his beats also lack real bass. The timing is off as well. It's not Brandy's fault.

But hey maybe it's me because I've been overdosing on Neptunes and Timbaland beats :welllol:

I just don't like this song but it got the most views on YT of all the songs on B7 ....my opinion don't mean shit obviously fgghhhbb  :dead:

Honestly, you're not the only one. I've tried several times but I gave up. It's just not for me.

The song is so choppy and you can barely understand a lot of what she's saying.

I usually go straight to Unconditional Oceans.

Love that song. It's messy but it works.

the lyrics make absolutely no sense though.
