I depend on playlists to find new artists and most of the time they're depressing af. Literally and figuratively. All the songs sound the same, and all the artists do too. Like everything is one note. Either a breathy whispery voice or a monotone coo. You can't distinguish one artist from the next. And all the guys have the same nasal vocal. I wanna get into new music but it's hard.

Yeah. I've literally just tapped out on R&B music altogether these days. Dancehall, reggae, afrobeats are my go to now. Those genres are still doing it all the way right for me.

This shit is HARD. Honestly, Artists are asked to do a bit more than they should have to now. Everyone doesn't have the means to shoot their own short film or music video right outta the gate. It's a lot harder than it was for even someone like Issa Rae a decade ago

You should see the things Actors in LA are asked to do for a simple audition. It's sooooo gross. You basically have to shoot a fucking film all by yourself, pay for the location and amount of time you'll be there, pay for the extras that may appear in it (cuz it's required) AND of course pay for all of the equipment. And that's just to be considered
