So she will own all of the money and royalties and wouldn't have to share with the label, if a movie wants to use the songs they will go through her instead....r u slow?

I doubt he would ever just voluntarily give her the full rights to those.
which is probably why Shan actually is singing her old stuff on these songs with Da Baby

Ashanti only own the masters to her new material.

She recently acquire the masters to her debut album thanks to her legal team because her 20th anniversary next year and it was a pivotal moment in her career but she doesn't own her entire catalog collectively. Her and Irv would have to come to some type of agreement and negotiate for her to have her entire discography.

It'll be interesting to hear the new take on the songs but it'll never live up or be enjoyable as the original recording.
