Herb.

I love this. All this research and learning about the different countries in Africa, the amazing diversity in our genetics....now I feel like I can actually butt in on the conversation next time Malc and GODman go at it :justabit:

It would be interesting if the world started out as black and white and ended up one uniform shade of brown.

True. I guess one could pose the same question in regard to their pale skin as I did their eyes.

QuoteIn Botswana, there is a law that the hunter-gatherers cannot hunt anymore. There are land disputes and in many cases they are being pushed off the land they used to hunt or consider sacred. They are considered lowlifes in society and have very little political representation. In many ways this replicates what happened to the indigenous people of North America, who by the way were also hunter gatherers.

I am fucking HONORED to have a chunk of their DNA inside of me. :stressed: This is fucking amazing :uhh:

But it makes me so sad that it seems as if they are going extinct. and pushed out. Pushed out of land that was originally theirs :uhh: :uhh: I'm sure the crackers over there have a lot to do with it. In fact I think I remember reading about it. Ugh, just butt your fucking head out of mess that doesn't concern u! What is so hard about that :usureuok:

The way of life just isn't feasible anymore, lots of them are dying out due to lack of food and urbanisation, less hunting land, less animals
to hunt, they're natural hunters and they're whole culture and way of
Living is based on that

kinda heartbreaking to find out something amazing , and such an amazing group of people who helped make you...then to find out that they are dying off themselves. and very little AA's have Khoisan blood so it's not like we can keep the mess going over here in the states. they're really on the brink of extinction. bloodline and all. :stressed:

But I guess it makes sense. No way such a group that's been around so long can survive modern times. it's in their blood to do what they do, no such thing as becoming civilized, like the five sellout native tribes did here in the states.  :plea: Still sucks though. :stressed:
