This song is so interesting to me cause you can literally hear her getting into her Full Moon sound, but she hadn't quite perfected it yet.

Also, i've never heard Brandy use this tone before or since - the closest is maybe Human. I don't know what she was on that day but she sounds fucking incredible.

Tbh this tone is very similar to the "I know now" & Another Day In Paradise tone to me... which i think were recorded around the same time? Someone fact check me on that

That's why i just noticed a couple years back that there are two versions of another day in paradise


I never knew this. She recorded an even more grown sounding one for the full moon album and it has more adlibs i guess she said no ma'am, i don't like that anymore

This resurgence of Queen Brandy is something

That's why chance the rapper had to call her and clear that i wanna be down sample and how they got in touch in the first place. 

And that's why Atlantic records was uploading all of her material over a year ago and all the views and everything transferred over to her youtube channel. Back when she didn't own her masters, we saw in 2015 that Atlantic had her go back and record new vocals for "The girl is Mine", that UK record that had to be approved using Beyoncé's vocals as well as hers. They could've sampled the 1998 vocals but Brandy didn't own her masters then
