I used to agree with this when I was younger, but now I feel like this is a pretty dated ideology and I believe picking "friends" speaks more about YOU and how YOU tolerate being treated.

When we were younger, we tolerated being "tolerated" because like he said it was survival and we felt safer with women. But today, we don't have to settle for friendships like that anymore. That's a choice. I think his argument should be that black faggots haven't grown to understand the difference between being "tolerated" and having true friendships. Because ALOT of women aren't like this. At all. This is dated to me.
