Brandon Lee, the son of Bruce Lee, died in a similar freak accident on set. It's insane how your life can be snuffed out at an instant over a mishap ...that's why I'm always careful with how I drive or when I go outdoors in general.

How do you misfire a prop gun with "supposed" blank bullets tho? Something ain't right with that story  :shook:

It means you put the gun too close; on someone's head or body and shoot the blanks. It's probably not the gun that was acting up (you can expect there to be pressure/flame), it's a lack of security measures.
That's still insane to me  :uhh: they doctor and edit everything else and can't make the gun and gunfire look real without putting folks in harms way? No ma'am.
Crew members were talking on the radio this morning and they said whenever they use real guns,  the blanks give a more realistic tea when they fire, apparently they can't replicate the bang, smoke and fire from a fired gun
Plus it's a western movie so I guess they wanted the upmost
im sure this is true but i just refuse to believe this in 2021. Sounds like this is just the less expensive route to go and i hate that :uhh: they're going to have to change the laws after this tragedy or figure it the fuck out cuz a lot of actors are gonna start turning down roles involving guns. No way

I feel bad for him and the family of the women who died. Always liked Alec Baldwin. Seems like a great guy to me and he's great in everything. Blame whoever allowed a loaded gun on set.

How and why were the crew in his line of fire

I want answers

One shot fired by Alec Baldwin tore through two people on movie set

QuoteThe bullet Alec Baldwin fired from a prop gun first struck director of photography Halyna Hutchins — then exited her body and hit film director Joel Souza's clavicle on the set of the upcoming film "Rust," according to a report Friday.

Not one bullet

This accidental sharp shooter

Somebody pass me that stunt gun so I can outdo his record and take out at least 5 fags with a one bullet mess.

We can fly to the fckn moon. You mean to tell me they can't create a realistic prop gun? Stuff like this shouldn't be happening in 2021.

Kalifornia.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he decides to retire after this.
