When it comes down to it, what they say about FM being an "artists" album is true af. Id hesitate to play it casually for a general audience. I feel like most of the songs have that "something" that you have to have "ears" for. To be able to almost decipher what they have going on. It sounds like "a lot" to a lot of people,  but when u know how/what to pick apart, the marrying of all that "extra" is skillful and beautiful.

FM kinda trumps it sonically, vocally, and production wise.

FM is a schizophrenic mess. Now vocally it's probably her best

Sonically, NSN hands down is her best album, and possibly a top pop album of all time (in the genre)
