That's true but Mary is also the Queen of HIP-HOP Soul...Mary's voice/emotion saves her, it embodies Soul in every aspect.

ALL of it! Black girls don't just have to be associated with SOUL to be singers. I.E. Ciara, Ashanti, Rihanna, Kelly Rowland, Raven Symone.
